Past  Tense   के   चारों   भेद   इस   प्रकार   हैं   :           

1.  Past  Indefinite  Tense

2.  Past  Continuous  Tense

3.  Past  Perfect  Tense

4.  Past  Perfect  Continuous  Tense

Use  of   Past  Indefinite  Tense  in  Hindi

संकेत   =   क्रिया   +   आ   /   ई   /   ए   +   (   था   /   थी   /   थे   )

जिन  हिंदी  वाक्यों  की  क्रिया  की  बनावट   धातु   +   आ   /   ई   /   ए   +   (   था   /   थी   /   थे   )   हो  , इन  क्रियाओ  का  अनुवाद   Past  Indefinite  Tense  में   होगा .

Past  Indefinite  Tense  में  उपयुक्त  क्रिया  के   V²  form  का  प्रयोग  किया  जाता  हैं .

Person  Singular                Plural

First Person       

मैंने  खाया  था . I  ate.      

हमलोगों  ने  खाया  था . We  ate.

Second Person  आपने  खाया  था .You  ate.

आपलोगों  ने  खाया  था . You  ate.

Use  of   Past  Continuous  Tense  in  Hindi

संकेत   =   रहा  था  ,   रही  थी  ,   रहे  थे  .

जिस  हिंदी  वाक्य  की  क्रिया  के  अंत  में   रहा   था   /   रही   थी   /   रहे   थे   इत्यादि  रहे  ,   उस  क्रिया का  अनुवाद   Past  Continuous  Tense  में   होगा .

I   /   He   /   She   /   It   /   Ram  के  साथ   Was  तथा  अन्य  के  साथ   Were  का प्रयोग  किया  जाता  हैं .

Use  of   Past  Continuous  Tense

यदि  भूतकाल  में  दो  कार्य  हुआ  हो  ;   एक  कार्य  दुसरे  कार्य  के  बहुत  पहले  पूरी  तरह  समाप्त  हो गया  हो  ,   तो  पहले  समाप्त  होने  वाले  कार्य  के  लिए   Past  Perfect  Tense  की  क्रिया  का प्रयोग  होता  हैं  और  बाद  में  समाप्त  होनेवाले  कार्य  के  लिए   Past  Indefinite  Tense  की क्रिया  का  प्रयोग  होता  हैं .

 

 सभी   Subjects  के  साथ   Had  का  प्रयोग  किया  जाता  हैं .

Use  of   Past  Perfect  Continuous  Tense  in  Hindi

 

 

 

 

संकेत   =   ता  रहा  था  ,   ती  रही  थी  ,   ते  रहे  थे  .

 

Past  Perfect  Continuous  Tense  की  क्रिया  से  यह  बोध  होता  हैं  कि  कोई  कार्य भूतकाल  में  लगातार  कुछ  समय  तक  जारी  रहा .   जैसे ------   मैं  दो  वर्षो  से  पढ़  रहा  था .

 

जिस  हिंदी  वाक्य  की  क्रिया  के  अंत  में   ता   रहा   था   /   ती   रही   थी   /   ते   रहे   थे   इत्यादि  रहे  , उस  क्रिया  का  अनुवाद   Past  Perfect  Continuous  Tense  में   होगा .

 

सभी   Subjects  के  साथ   Had  been  का  प्रयोग  किया  जाता  हैं .
